It all started when…

Working at Apple, one of our founders, Imran, realized that it is hard to coordinate activities with friends and find high quality local experiences. Social media and video consumption has become a distraction in our lives and isolating us from connecting with real-people. It's easy to come home after a busy day at work, sit on the couch to binge watch Netflix or browse our Facebook feed. What if it was just as easy to engage with friends, meet like-minded people nearby and enjoy activities that fuel our passion?

Trace, who was working at Microsoft at the time got excited about this opportunity, and together they built Mavengo.

Mavengo, enables users to coordinate activities with friends, discover and enjoy local experiences. Experts can build their community and earn money doing what they are skilled at by leading group activities. We're growing in Seattle and plan on expanding into other cities as we fine-tune our product.
